This is a step-by-step image & instruction guide to basic disassembly and select repair issues for the HP 7100 Series Officejet Printer. With slight variation, much of this material will also apply to HP D-Series and other similar model HP printers. This material is provided free of charge, and done strictly to assist those who would wish to learn more about their printers operation, and attempt to make diagnosis / repairs on a "DIY" basis.

Most issues, including complete disassembly, can be readily done by the average person with nothing more than a few common household tools and a #10 TORX wrench. Clear directions with detailed photos will guide you step-for-step through disassembly / repair procedures.
